Pinfish Enters Final Stages Of Construction
Progress Summary
Pinfish is in the final stages of construction with just a few milestones remaining. We are so pleased with how the place turned out and we are thankful for all of the hard work from Eric, Keely, Jacob, and the rest of the team at Ensign Construction. There are too many businesses to mention here, but local business owners of companies such as Monifi Technology Group, Dunn Electric, and Bayside Plumbing were instrumental throughout the entire project. Monroe County and a multitude of locals citizens and business owners have been very supportive as well as local artist Roberto “Pasta” Pantaleo. I would also like to mention how supportive the SouthState Bank Team has been as well as Commodore Realty. When this community wants something, they come together and get it done!
We are in the midst of training a staff of 12 amazing team members. We have several systems with different technologies to learn in a short time. Our team members love working with the attractions and spend a lot of time becoming familiar with them through game play and scenarios. Pinfish is a very fun place to work!
Our attractions offer enjoyment for the kid in all of us. The Duckpin bowling lanes create a one-of-a-kind dining experience in the Keys that is fun for all ages. Our only attraction made just for adults is our self-serve tap wall that turned out absolutely stunning!
Axe throwing is the only other attraction with an age limitation of 13 years old with a parent or guardian signed waiver required. The staff is currently going through axe coaching lessons to certify they are capable of safely operating our axe range consisting of 3 lanes.
We are so thankful for the interest in Pinfish from the community and visitors. The question of the day is, “When will you be open?”. All I can say is we are doing everything we can to get there. We started construction in mid-March and have been working every day since then to get open. We’re expecting to announce an opening date very soon! When we do, we’re hoping to start booking events shortly after.
